Knee Joint
Mechanical Knee Joint
The upper and lower joint sections are connected through the knee axis by bushings and ball bearings. The adjustable lock secures the joint in extension. The lock is released using the lock cable. Locking occurs automatically at full extension with assistance from the extension assist spring.
Polycentric Knee Joint
It is a polycentric prosthetic knee joint, which mimics the movement of a normal knee joint while walking. At the same time, it provides stability during the weight-bearing phase to ensure the person can walk with their artificial limb without falling.
Modular 4-bar Linkage Knee Joint for Knee Disarticulation
Suitable for the persons with transfemoral amputee and with long residual limb, disarticulation amputee ,The features: it's able for optimal swing phase control through the axis friction and adjusting of extension assist
Pneumatic Monocentric Knee Joint
The actuation threshold of the brake can be adjusted individually to suit the body weight and the wishes of the user. This takes into account the special requirements of the rehabilitation phase and of users with low mobility i.e., high response sensitivity for those users who tread cautiously.
Very acute flexion of the knee joint (up to 145°) is possible, which is particularly advantageous when, for instance, kneeling, sitting, or getting into the car.
Extension/flexion valves can be set independently of each other. These can be adjusted quickly and easily to the individual care needs of the user.
Pneumatic Knee Joint
Single-chamber pneumatics control the swing phase In swing phase, the smooth yet powerful single-chamber pneumatics - one chamber each for flexion and extension damping do not run out of air, even at various walking speeds. Harmonious flexion and extension movements, and therefore an approximation of the physiological gait pattern, are made possible. Here the joint geometry effectively shortens the prosthesis during swing, resulting in more ground clearance. Four-axis polycentric structure ensures stance phase stability In extension, the instantaneous centre of rotation is located above the joint and behind the load line, resulting in high stability in stance phase. The integrated extension assist spring ensures that the lower leg of the prosthesis is always extended at heel strike and weight can be safely supported on the prosthesis side. This is especially advantageous when the user takes small compensating steps, turns in a circle or walks in confined areas. The join offers numerous advantages, not only whilst walking. When sitting or kneeling, the large maximum flexion angle of 150° and the low system height when flexed make it both comfortable and practical. Easy to fit Flexion and extension dampening can be separately and individually customised to the needs of the user . A quick start guide included with the delivery facilitates the alignment process and helps establish the prosthesis settings. This effectively reduces the working time of the prosthetist and leads to rapid fitting success. Additional product characteristics • Main material: aluminium • Low weight: approx. 750 g • Connectors: proximal - pyramid adapter, distal - tube clamp Ø 30 mm • Plastic cover protects the pneumatics against dirt • Rounded contours protect the cosmetic cover
Balance Knee Joint
The Balance Knee is designed to offer the less active user a high level of security and stability. Its four-bar geometric design is easily adjusted to optimize the required balance between stability and walking dynamics for each individual. It also facilitates an easy kneeling action. Mid-swing shortening allows the prosthesis to swing more easily through each step and helps prevent hip hiking.
Simple to set up, the knee’s adjustment features (including the adjustable extension assist) can all be accessed externally with no disassembly of the prosthesis required. The design is maintenance free. Balance knee is available with stronger extension assist and a manual lock.

A Confident Step Amputees must be able to rely on their prosthesis, especially in the stance phase. The rotation hydraulics of the KNEE respond to the ground reaction forces in the stance phase at every step. They build up high hydraulic resistance, which prevents involuntary flexion of the joint.
Extensive adjustment possibilities The 3R80 offers comprehensive adjustment possibilities for the individual adaptation of stance and swing phase characteristics. Flexion and extension resistance can be adjusted easily and independently. Optimum adjustment values for stance phase damping and response behaviour between the stance and swing phase are achieved by gradually turning the adjustment rings. The level of resistance in the stance phase can be easily adapted to the requirements of the user, and enables variable knee flexion under load up to 4° while bouncing, and more than 4° while yielding. An additional spring can be integrated very easily in order to increase the extension assist force if required. The spring, setting aid and required tube adapter are included in the scope of delivery.

NK-6 - 6-Bar Hydraulic Knee
The NK-6 has a unique 6-Bar polycentric structure, which provides a great stability in the stance phase. An original mechanical sensing mechanism, p-MRS system automatically detects the walking status and then controls the stability accordingly. The stance flexion feature and the smooth swing phase provided by a hydraulic cylinder promise a comfortable walking to the user. Optional is Selective Lock

Extension/flexion valves can be set independently of each other. These can be adjusted quickly and easily to the individual care needs of the user
The optional closing geometry of the construction ensures stance phase stability and a high degree of safety, particularly at heel strike
Higher ground clearance due to the polycentric joint construction. The risk of stumbling or the prosthesis catching on the ground is considerably reduced, even on uneven surfaces.
Very acute flexion of the knee joint (up to 150°) is possible, which is particularly advantageous when, for instance, kneeling, sitting, or getting into the car.
Balance Knee Control
Balance Knee Control is designed to offer a high level of stability for low active users, who typically use walking aids. It is intended to facilitate single-speed walking on level ground and gentle slopes, allowing the user to negotiate stairs* and small obstacles, as well as sit and/or kneel.
Featuring proven Össur technology, Balance Knee Control offers a stable, yet more dynamic alternative to the Locking Knee.
This single axis knee has a weight-activated friction brake that can be adjusted to suit the weight of individual users. The knee also incorporates an extension assist, adjustable stance flexion and a manual lock for use as and when required.
*The knee should only be used in full extension when negotiating stairs.
